EW (Extended warranty): Coverage begins immediately after standard warranty expiration and lasts for 1 year. Example: If the product manufacturer warranty of 1 year ends on 1st Jan 2024, then the EW plan will be effective from 2nd Jan 2024 to 2nd Jan 2025.
