This warranty policy applies to realme products sold in India only, which includes Mobile Phones, Accessories, IoT Products, TVs, Laptop etc. During the warranty period, if a functional failure occurs upon normal usage, realme will provide free repair service or replacement according to the standard policy guidelines set by the company.

realme Mobile Phone, Tablet, Accessories & IoT Products Warranty Policy:

 

Warranty cover conditions:

  • Warranty is applicable only for products purchased in India. The international warranty is not applicable
  • The warranty period of the mobile device is applicable from the activation date or Invoice date whichever is earlier. Delayed activation date due to unforeseen logistics delays on product delivery will be considered however a valid proof of purchase i.e. Invoice is mandatory to produce if demanded at the service center to avail product replacements.
  • To avail warranty service support for realme accessories & IoT products, customers are advised to carry the original box pack while visiting the service center along with valid purchase proof of Invoice.
  • Some accessories (for example toothbrush bristles, hair dryer nozzle, trimmers combs, manual, warranty card, etc.) are not covered by this warranty.
  • During the warranty period, if any functional failure occurs, realme will provide maintenance services free of charge for workmanship and required spare parts through their authorized service centers. All replaced parts are owned by realme.
  • Warranty does not cover if the device gets rooted by the user and if it cannot get restored by a software update, ASC to ensure to take prior approval from the customer before flashing the software.
  • Devices/products given for business activities to teams will get service as per the realme service policy. Warranty start dates will be considered by the activation date.
  • In case of any dispute, where there is no fault found in the device by the authorized service center and the user is not agreeing then both parties may agree for testing of the device by agencies authorized by Consumer court/organization. The testing fee should be submitting in advance by both parties. If after testing it found quality issue then the testing fee will be borne by the service center, if no fault found in the device then a fee will be borne by the user.
  • If there is any conflict between this service policy and national laws and regulations, all national laws and regulations shall prevail.

 

Warranty Exclusions:

This warranty neither covers man-made damages nor any of the following conditions, however, paid repair services are available.

  • The device has exceeded the standard warranty duration.
  • Any unauthorized repair, through the third party. Disassembly, self-repair, modification, and other human behaviours that cause damage.
  • Warranty sticker is missing/misplaced or altered
  • Warranty does not cover natural wear and tear (for example cable, connector, etc.), use of non-realme accessories, usage under extreme conditions, damage caused by an act of God such as floods, fire or earthquakes
  • The device is damaged due to improper use such as falling, squeezing, water damage, etc.,
  • Non-realme official warranty commitments
  • No warranty card and valid proof of purchase, however, an exception can be granted if the customer can prove that the accessory is within the warranty period
  • Products purchased overseas are not entitled to claim warranty services in domestic service centers however can avail repair services on chargeable basis taking into consideration of spare part costs etc., with a prior appointment at service centers.

 

realme TV Warranty Policy

 

Warranty cover conditions:

  • Warranty is applicable only for products purchased in India. The international warranty is not applicable
  • Warranty is confined to the first purchaser of the realme product only & is non-transferable. Purchase invoice with the corresponding model and a serial number of the unit must be captured in purchase proof document to claim warranty. 
  • Repairs or replacement under warranty shall be carried out by realme authorized service personnel only.
  • In case of repairs or replacement of any part/s of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty. Replacement of parts would be purely at the discretion of realme alone. In case the replacement of the entire unit is being made, (subject to the sole discretion of realme), the same model shall be replaced and in the event, such a model has been discontinued, it shall be replaced with the model equivalent as deemed fit by realme.
  • Free Installation or demo of the product, can be availed only once and within 15 days from the date of delivery. However, customers need to pay for the wall mounting kit.
  • For units installed beyond municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the company’s Authorized Service Center, on-site repair warranty is not applicable and it is the responsibility of the customer to contact the nearest authorized service center and bring the unit to the authorized service center at its own cost and risk. All expenses incurred in collecting the units or parts thereof from the company’s authorized service center, as well as expenses incurred in deputing of service personnel/technicians towards conveyance and other incidentals, etc. will be borne by the customer. Local Charges for transportation and handling charges may vary from location to location. Customers are advised to verify before.
  • The company or its authorized service Center/ service dealer reserves the right to retain any part/s or component/s replaced at its discretion in the event of a defect noticed in the equipment during the warranty period.
  • In case of any unpredicted situation and spares not being available, realme’s prevailing depreciation policy (subject to the sole discretion of realme & could change without prior notice) will be applied to the product for a suitable solution.
  • No Dealer/Distributor/Retailer has the authority to modify the terms of the above warranty.

 

Warranty Exclusions:

  • The device has exceeded the standard warranty duration.
  • Without a warranty card or valid purchase invoice, any alteration in the warranty card, or purchase invoice.
  • Defect or damage, by improper self-installation by customer or repairs/disassembly performed by any unauthorized technician/repair centers, testing, operation, demonstration, maintenance, non-preinstalled software, adjustment, physical & liquid damage, connection with equipment not approved by the Company / without following product guidelines.
  • Defect or damage caused by accident, floods, fire, winds, earthquakes, lightning, or other natural disasters or voltage instability or other force majeure.
  • Physical damage, dent, deformed or scratched, transportation dropping or excessive shock, scratches due to normal wear and tear.
  • Warranty does not cover any external accessories (such as Battery, cable, etc.)
  • Any damage caused due to tampering of the product, liability for loss of data, recorded images, or business opportunity loss.
  • If product found damaged, scratched, etc. while opening / unwrapping the product’s box, in the absence of authorized technician.
  • Products not purchased from realme authorized sellers (we recommend that you contact the point of sale for support).
  • Goods (products) that are not distributed within the regional jurisdiction of realme India.
  • This warranty will be void if the type or serial no of the product has been altered, removed, or defaced.

 

realme Laptop Warranty Policy

 

Warranty cover conditions:

  • The Limited Warranty starts from the date of purchase.
  • During the warranty period, if any accessory defect is inspected and confirmed by a realme authorized service centre, a free replacement service shall be provided.
  • This limited warranty is only valid in India, and the product is not eligible for any international warranty service. The warranty service may only be performed by realme or realme authorized service centres.
  • realme may conduct diagnostic tests on customers ‘products to identify the causes of failures/defects. Before submitting any unit for service, customer should back up data and remove any confidential and/or personal information from the product.
  • realme is not responsible for damage or loss of any program, data, or removable storage media.
  • Prior to contacting a realme service agent, please ensure the following information is at hand:
  • Model, serial number, if available.
  • Customer’s full address and contact information.
  • Purchase order number, a copy of the customer’s original invoice/receipt.
  • This warranty does not cover the following cases:
  • If the product serial number or warranty seal is illegible or has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, and/or tampered with. If any accessory or external part of the product is missing. Removal, tampering or alteration of any identification labels on the product or any of its components including the serial number Warranty does not cover natural wear & tear, usage under extreme conditions, damage due to improper care (accident, misuse or negligence), exposure to water/ liquids and damage caused by acts of god such as floods, fires or earthquakes.
  • Damage caused due to lightning, electricity surges / abnormal voltage, damage during transit while in the custody of the Customer
  • Physical damage caused by the customer (including liquid damage) due to improper use or handling or If any damage occurs in/on outer surface of the product, including but not limited to cracks, dents or scratches on the exterior cases, screens, buttons and other attachments.
  • Product is not used in the recommended manner. Company will not be liable for any damage or loss or injury caused due to improper use or handling. General maintenance, password reset assistance, cleaning, application update/installation, product demonstration, or any other service other than repair/replacement;
  • Unauthorised modifications/repairs, repairs or installation done by unauthorised persons,
  • Usage of any software applications or programs; non-realme products or non-realme branded peripherals with this realme Laptop or use of product/system with equipment not approved by realme. Damage caused by improper installation or improper connection to a peripheral device (i.e. monitor, keyboard etc.)
  • Damage from third party software or from virus (es), Product issues caused by use of parts, peripherals or software not recommended by the Company.
  • Software loss or data loss that may occur during repair or replacement. realme is only responsible for the re-installation of software that was pre-installed by realme in the realme Laptop.
