FAQ

  • When the hotspot is on, the phone sends and receives signals for other phones to connect. The phone does both tasks at once, so the data is very large. The modem works hard and uses more power, so the phone drains faster with the hotspot. Causes: 1. Use other high-power apps at the same time, such as playing games, and watching videos. etc. 2. The hotspot is connected by multiple devices at the same time 3. Turn on the hotspot in areas with poor signal 4. Forgot to turn off the hotspot after turning it on Solution: 1. Try not to use high-power apps after turning on the hotspot. 2. Adjust the maximum number of connected devices When there are multiple devices connected to the hotspot, it will increase the consumption of the phone. Please adjust the maximum number of connected devices or add unknown connected devices to the blocklist. All realme UIs: pull down the notification bar > long press the personal Hotspot > Connection Management, add devices that do not need to be connected to the Blocklist or set the maximum number of connected devices. 3. Use the phone in an area with a stable signal to avoid increasing the power consumption when receiving the signal. 4. Turn it off in time or set the hotspot to turn off auto If the hotspot is not used for a long time, please turn it off in time. You can also set the hotspot to turn off automatically, to reduce the power consumption caused by keeping the hotspot on for a long time. All realme UIs: pull down the notification bar > long press the personal hotspot > turn on Automatically turn off personal hotspot. If the above methods do not solve your problem, please back up your data and go to the nearest authorized realme service center for testing.
