Problem phenomenon:
Low sound or noise comes from realme Book while playing YouTube videos.
Causes:
1. The volume of the laptop is set to very low.
2. There is an issue with the playback source.
3. Has connected the other playback device.
4. Dust or debris that may be blocking or muffling the sound from your laptop speakers.
5. The audio driver files are damaged.
Solution:
Please follow these steps to troubleshoot:
1. Click the volume icon on the right corner and find this icon in the software to turn up the volume.
2. Play other songs or videos.
3. Check the selected playback device on your laptop. Sometimes, Windows may switch to a different playback device, such as headphones or external speakers, without your notice. This can result in low sound volume or noise from your laptop speakers.
Right-click on the speaker icon on the taskbar and select Sounds.
Navigate to the Playback tab and look for your laptop speakers. They may be labeled as Speakers, Realtek High Definition Audio, or something similar.
If they are not set as the default device, right-click on them and select Set as Default Device.
Click OK to save the changes and exit.
4. Please use a soft brush or a cotton swab to gently clean the speaker grills.
5. Reinstall the audio driver.
Go to the realme website to download and reinstall the audio driver. Link: https://www.realme.com/in/support/software-update
Select the driver of the corresponding model to download.
After downloading the package, decompress it and install the driver according to the README file in the folder.
If the fault persists, perform the following operations.
6. Restart your realme Book and try again.
