Problem phenomenon：
Phenomenon 1: realme touchpad malfunctions during normal use.
Phenomenon 2: Touchpad not working, auto clicking.
Problem causes：
1. The touchpad function switch is turned off by mistake.
2. The finger contact area is too large (the entire finger on the trackpad) or use multiple fingers to misoperate.
3. The computer entered the sleep or hibernation state.
4. The touchpad driver is disabled.
5. Hardware failure.
6. System or software failure.
Solutions:
1. Please check whether the touchpad function is disabled
(1) Press the F4 key to check whether the touchpad is enabled or not
(2) Click Start > Settings > Devices > Touchpad, and check whether the touchpad is turned on, if closed, please turn it on.
2. Please confirm whether it is caused by misoperation.
It's recommended that you use a clean finger to glide over the pad, if the contact area is too large (the whole finger on the touchpad) or use more than one finger, the operation will not be efficient. It's recommended that you use a single finger at a time.
3. Please make sure the computer is not in a sleep or hibernation state.
To prevent the system from being woken up by touching the touchpad by mistake and thus affecting your use, the software is set not to wake up by touching the touchpad. So if the device is not responding while in a sleep or hibernation state, please wake up the system by tapping the keyboard or pressing the power button before operating.
4. Please check whether the touchpad driver is disabled.
You can right-click the Windows icon in the lower-left corner, open Device Manager, in Device Manager >> Human Interface Devices >> HID-compliant touchpad, right-click and select Enable, then restart the computer and try again.
5. Please check whether in the BIOS mode touchpad can be used normally.
You can tap F2 continuously at boot to enter the BIOS page to see if the touchpad is used normally. If the BIOS page is still unable to use the touchpad to control the screen cursor, there may be a hardware failure.
6. Please use F8 safe mode recovery of this computer to check if the touchpad can be used normally.
Please backup your data in advance > when you turn on the laptop > tap F8 continuously to enter safe mode > select Troubleshooting > reset this PC > restore factory settings > and then confirm whether the touchpad is normal.
If the above methods are unable to solve the problem, we suggest you back up your personal data and visit the nearest realme service center for testing.
