To enjoy 5G network speed on your realme phone, you need to meet the following requirements:
1. Your phone supports and enables a 5G network. You can check and turn on the 5G network by going to:
realme UI 3.0 & 4.0: Settings > Mobile network > select the SIM card > 5G.
realme UI 2.0 & 1.0: Settings > SIM card & mobile data > select the SIM card > 5G.
2. Your SIM card supports and activates 5G-related services. Different operators and plans may have different rates for 5G services.
3. Your location has 5G network coverage and good signal strength. You can contact your operator for more information about the 5G coverage in your area.
If you have trouble with the 5G signal, you can try these steps:
1. If your phone shows 5G, please check the signal status by following this path:
realme UI 1.0 & above versions: Settings > search SIM card status in the search bar > SIM card status > Signal strength.
If the NR signal strength number under the 5G network is lower than -105dBm, the signal is weak and you may need to contact your operator for help. (Note: The bigger the dBm value, the stronger the signal. For example, -75dBm is better than -105dBm. If there is no value, there is no signal.)
2. If the 5G network coverage in your area is good, you can try to refresh the network by turning on/off the airplane mode.
If the problem still does not improve, please bring your phone to the nearest realme customer service center for inspection and processing.
