Problem phenomenon:
The keyboard of the notebook is heating, especially the upper metal area.
Problem causes:
1) The metal area above the keyboard is where the hot air from the fan passes, and this position is indeed the hottest place in the entire keyboard area.
2) Because the metal area above the keyboard cannot be touched during normal use, it is designed as a hot area of the whole machine. The keyboard letter area, palm rest area, and touch area that are touched for a long time in normal use have relatively low temperatures. The purpose of this design is to give users a more comfortable experience.
3) The computer is designed with a metal shell, and the metal is more conducive to heat, and the metal area above the keyboard will feel obvious heating.
Follow the steps below to improve heat dissipation and reduce fan noise
Step 1:
Confirm the occupancy rate of the current computer's processor and clean up the background. Open the task manager ( method: ctrl+shift+esc), select the process page, click the CPU tab, view the background process with high processor usage, and end the process.
* If no operation is performed, the occupancy of the processor is basically about 5%; if the occupancy of the processor exceeds 20%, the problem of computer heat and loud noise is easy to be perceived.
Step 2: Set the computer energy-saving mode to reduce the computer heat
Click the battery icon in the lower right corner and select the power mode - Best battery life to achieve an energy-saving effect and reduce computer heat.
Step 3: Check the air outlet to see if there is dust and dirt accumulation, which will affect the heat dissipation effect. It is recommended to clean the dust regularly for a better heat dissipation effect.
