How to fix weak or unstable phone signal ?

Update Time: 2023-06-20 16:08:50

Problem phenomenon:

1. There are only 1 or 2 grids of the 4G/5G phone signal.

2. The phone is always on 2G/3G/.

3. The phone signal frequently drops from 4G to 2G/3G.

Causes:

1. In special areas, a lack of network resources, high server pressure, or high-speed switching of base stations may cause signal instability.

2. Metal enclosures or magnetic objects will interfere with signal transmission and reception.

3. The SIM card is dirty or cut, causing an abnormal signal.

4. In some scenarios, the base station access is abnormal.

5. The operator rectifies the network in the current area or the operator's network is abnormal, resulting in a weak signal.

6. APN access point settings is abnormal, resulting in a weak signal.

7. System settings is abnormal, resulting in a weak signal.

Solutions:

1. Using a phone in a special area of the network may cause an interruption of signal reception or transmission, resulting in weak or no signal. It is recommended to use the phone in a relatively stable network environment.

(The network is relatively special areas such as bus stations, classrooms, and other places with many people, basements, remote villages, and other places where network resources are scarce, trains, high-speed railways, etc. move faster, and network base stations are frequently switched.)

2. If the phone is in a metal-enclosed scene (such as an elevator, or metal phone case), the signal transmission and reception capability are interfered, and the signal may be weak. Please change the scene or remove the phone case before use.

3. If you manually cut the card, it may cause a weak phone signal. It is recommended that you go to a nearby operator's business office to replace the standard SIM card. If the SIM card is not cut, you can also remove the SIM card to check whether there is any dirt or oxidation and if so, clean it and put it back for use.

4. It is recommended that you turn on and off the airplane mode again and wait for the best network base station access to be searched besides.

5. You can judge whether the problem is caused by the operator's network by comparing other phones using the same operator's network or changing the card of a different operator. If the same operator has this problem or the cards of different operators are normal, please feedback to the local operator for optimization.

6. If the APN access point setting of the phone has changed, the signal may be abnormal. Please try to reset the APN access point and try again.
