Before any operation, please check if the external device supports the HDMI ARC function.
If not, It is normal to be unable to connect to the TV. Only when both the TV and the speaker support HDMI ARC, the speaker play the audio successfully through the HDMI to connect to the TV.
Poor contact
Poor contact can affect signal transport and reduce signal strength.
It is suggested you disconnect the cable from the TV and external speaker and re-plug the cable to the TV and external speaker firmly.
Incorrect HDMI port
It is suggested to check if the HDMI port being used on the TV and speaker is the one that supports HDMI ARC.

Abnormal video or audio
It is suggested to play other videos or audio for the test.
Additional settings for external devices
Please check if other settings or modes need to be set. For example, Soundbar needs to change different modes when connecting to different devices.
Additional settings for TV
It is suggested you check if the TV turns on the CEC function refer to How does the realme Smart TV turn on the CEC function
Check if the issue is caused by the TV
1. Please connect the other speaker to the TV with HDMI.
If the other external speaker can work normally, there may be some issues with the external device.
If the other external speaker can't, there may be some issues with the TV.
Please follow the steps below:
a. Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a minute and plug it back in.
b. Refer to How to reset realme Smart TV to restore the TV to factory settings.
