New-Gen 5G Processor

realme 8 5G is India's first smartphone to come with MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G Processor, which mixes two highly capable Arm Cortex-A76 cores in its octa-core CPU operating up to a speedy 2.2GHz. MediaTek Dimensity 700 uses the leading 7nm production processor, which is up to 28% more power-efficient than an equivalent 8nm process, allowing the MediaTek Dimensity 700 to use its high-performance processors while only sipping power, extending battery life to keep the user connected for longer. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 brings a powerful GPU - Arm Mali-G57 MC2 with 950MHz clock speed and supports 90Hz high refresh rate screen technology.

MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor also supports 5G Dual SIM Dual Standby, letting the phone support 5G SIM cards online by 5G network. Besides, the processor supports SA/NSA and covers the mainstream 5G frequency band.It also consists of Advanced Dual Network Acceleration technology that can realize Wi-Fi and 5G network overlay.

 Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology (DRE)

To tackle the drawbacks caused by insufficient RAM and create more memory, realme 8 5G comes with a new Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology (DRE) that converts storage/ROM into virtual RAM. As per the test data, with DRE 4GB can turn to 5GB and 8GB turns into 11GB - all of which are virtual ROM conversions. It enables even smoother multiple app usages.

5000mAh Massive Battery and Smart 5G Power Saving

realme 8 5G is equipped with a 5000mAh massive battery, satisfying daily entertainment use.It comes with an 18W type-C quick charge through which the 5000mAh battery can be fully charged rapidly.

realme 8 5G also supports Smart 5G Power Saving. As 5G brings more power consumption to the phone, it will shorten its battery life. realme has introduced Smart 5G Power Saving to improve this situation. Smart 5G technology can intelligently sense the surrounding signal environment and "senselessly" switch between 4G and 5G without switching time, which achieves 30% lower power consumption than phones without the Smart 5G feature. realme 8 5G contains a 6.5-inch 90Hz Ultra Smooth Display with a 90Hz refresh rate and maximum 180Hz sampling rate. Capable of producing 90 frames per second, the 90Hz display has a 50% higher refresh rate when compared to a conventional 60Hz display, resulting in a seamless and smooth visual experience with every swipe of the screen. realme 8 5G boasts an advanced 48MP Nightscape Camera, comprising a 48MP Ultra HD Main Camera, a B&W portrait lens, and a macro lens. The primary camera uses 48MP Ultra HD Main Camera and comes with an F1.8 aperture, 80° FOV, and 6P lens. It consists of professional HD lenses that can record ultra-clear scenes with specific photo details and double the overall texture. The nightscape camera also consists of a B & W Portrait lens which comes with the new colour filter system that enables the portrait lens to detect a more comprehensive array of light, assist the primary lens in capturing light better, enhance image contrast, create retro-style images, and add texture to portraits. The Macro lens in a nightscape camera enables users to get closer and discover the beauty of the micro world with a 4cm shooting distance.

The realme 8 5G camera also features Nightscape Mode that has built in many popular night filters; with the multi-frame synthesis engine technology. realme 8 5G is the thinnest 5G smartphone in the segment and comes with an 8.5mm super slim body, 185g super lightweight, and a great feel in hand, delivering a comfortable experience for every grip.

The smartphone comes with a back cover that creates a dynamic change of light when the phone is shaken, which is called Dynamic Speed Light. To deliver this design concept, realme 8 5G uses a high-gloss indium plating process on Supersonic Blue to restore a glossy sense of light; on Supersonic Black, the smartphone features a lenticular pattern process to present a premium mirror effect to bring out the sense of light better.

Fast Side Fingerprint Scanner

realme 8 5G features a side fingerprint scanner, which ingeniously fuses the power button and fingerprint recognition modules. With a capacitive recognition system, with just one press one can unlock the phone instantly and it also provides more security.
