What if realme Smart TV is not clear while playing video?

Before doing any troubleshooting, please check if there is any screen protector that affects the video display.


The TV supports connecting external devices or antennas to play videos and also supports playing online videos. Please choose the corresponding troubleshooting steps according to your actual usage.

Poor video quality

Blurring, snowflakes, etc. will appear when playing old videos, this is normal.

It is commanded you to try to play other videos.

 

Poor network

When the network is poor, some APPs will automatically reduce the video resolution, resulting in lower video clarity.

It is suggested to change to another high-quality network or adjust the resolution to suit.

 

Low video resolution setting

The default resolution of the video is low or the video resolution has been reduced before.

It is suggested to adjust the resolution to suit.

If the issue still persists, please refer to Check if the issue is caused by the TV for further troubleshooting.

 



TV is not clear while connecting to an external device or antenna.


Poor contact

Connection problem between devices is one of the common causes of blurry or not clear pictures.

Please follow the steps to troubleshoot.

1. Disconnect the cable from the TV and an external device (or TV antenna outlet) and re-connect the cable to them.

2. Restart the external device.

3. Replace a new high-quality cable.

4. If there is another TV or external device (TV antenna outlet), please refer to the following device connection methods for further troubleshooting.

Method 1. Connect the TV to another external device (TV antenna outlet) through the same port 

If the TV can display normally, there may be some issue with the external device or TV antenna outlet, it is suggested to contact the supplier for further help.

Method 2. Connect another TV to the external device (TV antenna outlet) 

If another TV can display normally when connecting to the external device (TV antenna outlet), please refer to Check if the issue is caused by the TV for further troubleshooting


Poor quality video

Blurring, snowflakes, etc. will appear when playing old videos, this is normal.

It is commanded you to try to play other videos.


The lower output resolution of external source output

The resolution of the external source output is lower than the TV's resolution which causes the TV to look blurry.

It is suggested to replace a higher output resolution of an external source to test. 



Check if the issue is caused by the TV


Please follow the steps below:
1. Please unplug the TV power cord and reinsert it after 2 minutes.

2. Please refer to How to reset realme Smart TV? to restore the TV to factory settings.
