realme offline sales extend to 150 Cities in 2019; partners with 20,000 Real Partners


Realme, the No. 1 emerging smartphone brand in India, recently announced to expand the offline sales to 150 cities in the year 2019. The young brand started with top cities of the country, gradually moving towards 150 cities phase by phase. The “Proud to be Young” brand has collaborated with offline retailers which will be known as Real Partners and will give value addition to customer experience


Realme started with 10 cities across the country in January 2019 and the brand will eventually add 50 cities every quarter. With the city expansion, the smartphone brand will establish 20,000 outlets throughout the country. The retail outlets will have all the models that the smartphone brand has launched. Currently, the young brand has a presence in more than 35 cities across more than 3000 stores in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Surat, Ludhiana, and Chandigarh to name a few and is expanding footprints to meet the rapidly growing customer demands.


Currently, realme devices are available in the top 100 retail outlets in the region of Coimbatore. The brand plans to associate with 500 Real partners in the entire Tamil Nadu region including 150 outlets in Coimbatore by end of May 2019. The brand already has 15 service centers in the region, eventually adding on more as per requirement.


Bajaj Electronics, one the leading retail chains in South being the key partner, currently realme devices are available in top 90 retail stores across Telangana, which will be increased to 250 by the end of May. The entire Telangana region will be covered by the end of May 2019. The brand already has 5 service centers in the region. Going forward every district headquarters will have a service center. Customers can also enjoy the benefits of Bajaj Finance along with the realme smartphones.

The brand has been successfully performing on e-commerce platforms from May 2018. Realme has secured the position of No. 1 Emerging brand in the country as quoted by CMR and according to Counterpoint, realme was No.3 in overall market share during Diwali, and specifically No.2 in online sales.


Adding on to the accolades, realme has also ranked No. 4 position in Q4 2018, as per International Data Corporation (IDC) and Counterpoint and awarded ‘No. 1 Quality Smartphone Brand’ by CMR Mobile Industry Consumer Insight Survey.


Realme has recently inaugurated its first Exclusive Service Centre (ESC) in New Delhi. The brand will reach out to top 25 strategic locations wherein the potential for walk-in customers are high and will establish 25 ESCs by end of 2019. Realme will also extend these facilities to 350 Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities by making the services available at 400 service centers (ESC and multi-branded service centers). Going forward these ESCs will act as a Hub to support nearby multi-brand service for better customer experience.
