A hall sensor is a device that detects the presence of a magnetic field and can be used to turn off the screen of your phone when you close a flip cover or a case with a magnet.
If your hall sensor is not working, you may have one of the following problems:
1. Your flip cover or case may not have a magnet or it may be too weak to activate the hall sensor. You can try using a different cover or case with a stronger magnet and see if it works.
2. Your phone's software may have some issues that prevent the hall sensor from functioning properly. You can try updating your phone or pad's system version:
realme UI 5.0 & 4.0 & 3.0 & U edition: Settings > About device. Click Up to date/realme UI on the top to check for updates. If there is the latest version, you can download and update it.
realme UI 1.0 & 2.0: Settings > Software update.
realme UI R & S & T & Go Edition: Settings > System > System update.
If the above methods do not solve your problem, please back up your data in advance and go to the nearest authorizred realme Service Center with your purchase certificate for testing.
