Due to different usage habits, some of us may keep the phone screen on at high brightness, which may cause a shadow. Here are some steps for you to protect the phone screen and prolong its life. 

1. What’s the "shadow"?

The shadow is a phenomenon that when the device stops in an interface for a long time and switches to another one, the phone screen will display the shadow of the previous interface, which will be normal after the screen-off or power-off and it won’t affect the screen life. Please use it with confidence.  

2. Why there is a "shadow"?

It’s caused by the characteristics of the OLED screen, not caused by the software, the application, or the Circuit problems of the display driver. 

3. How to do with the“shadow" on the screen?

1. If there is a shadow on the screen already, it’s recommended you off the screen or switch off the phone for several minutes. If the issue is solved, it won’t affect the phone, please use it with confidence.

2. If the shadow cannot be fixed and affect your use, please visit the nearest service center for detection. 

4. How to avoid the "shadow" in daily use?

    a. When using a cell phone, try to stay on the same interface for no more than half an hour.

    b. Please do not keep the screen at maximum brightness, because the higher the brightness, the greater the current required is, which will shorten the life of the screen's light-emitting material.

Operation steps: Settings > Display & brightness, slide to the left to lower the brightness

    c. Switch on Auto brightness. 

    d. Set the shorter Auto screen off time.
