If the power bank is overheating, please troubleshoot as follows:
1. When the power bank is in the fast charging mode, the charging speed is faster, the flowing current is larger, and the power consumption is larger, so it will be hotter than the ordinary 10W mode. Under normal circumstances, it will only be slightly hot. If it is hot, please stop charging and discharging, and wait for the temperature to drop to room temperature before charging and discharging.
2. Please try to avoid using it while charging, the power bank itself will heat up when charging. If you use it while charging, the power bank will generate more heat. It is recommended that you use the original charger and data cable to quickly charge the phone before use.
3. It is recommended that you charge and discharge the power bank in an environment with good heat dissipation (such as indoors, desktops), and environments with poor heat dissipation conditions will lead to slower heat dissipation during charging and discharging, resulting in heating (such as: outdoor sunlight, car, bed, sofa). It is also recommended that you try to avoid stacking the power bank and the charged device, which will cause the temperature to rise.
4. When the power bank is in low power (only one light is on), the current through the internal cells is relatively large, and the internal components heat up. It is recommended that you keep the power bank fully charged. As the power of the power bank increases, the internal current decreases. The case surface temperature will decrease.
5. It is recommended that you use the official cable and realme charger to charge the power bank. Although other third-party cables or adapters can also be used to charge the mobile power bank, the specifications and quality of various chargers on the market vary. The charger and the power strip may heat up seriously, resulting in abnormal heating of the power bank.
In case of abnormal overheating, it is recommended to back up your data in advance, bring your phone, the power bank, data cable and purchase certificate, and go to the nearby realme service center for testing.
