Safe mode is an effective tool for locating and troubleshooting in Windows systems. Its working principle is to start the computer without loading a third-party device driver, and make the computer run in the system minimum mode, so that you can easily detect and repair computer system errors.
*In safe mode, third-party device drivers are not loaded, so fingerprint, Bluetooth, network and other functions are not available.
Start safe mode:
Method 1:
1. Long press or tap the F8 button when powering on. Or when the computer is running, after saving your file data, click the Windows icon> power icon, hold down the Shift key, select restart, and the computer restarts directly.
2. In the pop-up select an option interface, click Troubleshoot, and then click Advanced Options> View More Recovery Options> Startup Settings> Restart, or click Advanced Options> Startup Settings> Restart.
3. In the startup settings, press the number key 4 or the function key F4, select Enable safe mode, and the computer enters the safe mode.
Method 2:

2. Select the boot tab, tick secure boot in the boot option bar, and click OK.
3. In the system configuration window that pops up, click Restart to enter the safe mode. If you still have documents that need to be saved at this time, you can click to exit without restarting, finish processing the things at hand, and then restart the computer to enter the safe mode.
Exit safe mode:
This method is to exit the safe mode for the second method. If you enter the safe mode based on method 1, you can simply restart the computer to exit the safe mode.
If the keyboard does not respond after opening the safe mode, press the Win + R key combination at the same time, enter "msconfig" in the run box and press Enter to enter the "System Configuration".
Enter System Configuration or System Configuration in the taskbar search box and open it.
Under the General tab, check the normal startup under the startup selection column, and click OK. You can exit safe mode after restarting the computer.
