Check your earphone jack and your phone's settings if the sound comes out from the speaker when earphones are connected.
Applicable for all realme smartphones.
Plugging in the earphones is supposed to cut off the speaker. If sound still plays from your phone’s speaker when earphones are in, check each step in the following:
Check for loose connections
Remove any case or enclosure the phone may be in. Unplug and reconnect the earphones. Make sure the connector is pushed in all the way.
Check the earphone jack and earphones
Check for obstructions on or in the earphone jack.
Check your earphones and phone’s earphone jack for damage, like wear or breakage.
Make sure the earphones are fit for your phone. Some third-party earphones may not be supported.
Confirm whether it is the original earphone. If conditions permit, replace other earphones for audition and troubleshooting.
Play another song or video to try again.
Restart and update the phone
. After backing up important data, reset your phone, and make sure you have updated your phone to the latest version.
Note: when the earphone is plugged in, in order to avoid missed calls, the incoming ringtone will be played from the speaker at the same time.
If the above does not solve your problem, please go to the nearest realme service center for testing.
