USB connect mode needs to be changed before the computer can read photos and other files.
1. Please enable USB debugging first
a: Turn on developer mode first
Path: realme UI 3.0: Settings > About device > Version > Click "Build Number" 7 times
realme UI 2.0 & 1.0: Settings > About phone > Version > Click "Build Number" 7 times.
ColorOS 6.0: Settings > About phone > Version > Click "Build Number" 7 times.
realme R & Go Edition: Settings > About phone > Version > Click "Build Number" 7 times.
If there is a lock screen password, you need to enter the lock screen password. After success, you will be prompted to be in developer mode.
b: Turn on USB debugging
Path: realme UI 3.0: Settings > System settings > Developer options > Turn on USB debugging
realme UI 2.0 & 1.0 & ColorOS 6.0: Settings > Additional settings > Developer options > Turn on USB debugging
realme R & Go Edition: Settings > System > Developer options > Turn on USB debugging
2. Change the USB connection mode.
When you connect your phone to the computer using a USB cable, the phone will pop up in a window, click Transfer Files. This will allow you transfer files from your computer to your phone.
3. Reconnect the phone to your computer.
If you can still only transfer photos after changing the USB connect mode, unplug the phone and reconnect it to the computer and see if you fixed the issue.
4. Restart the phone, and update it to the latest system version.
Go to realme UI 3.0: Settings > About device > Up to date
realme UI 2.0 & 1.0: Settings > Software update
ColorOS 6.0: Settings > Software update
realme R & Go Edition: Settings > System update
If the above methods still cannot solve your problem, please back up your data in advance, and take the purchase certificate to a nearby realme Customer Service Center for testing.
