Learn about how to fix charging issues.
Applicable for all realme smartphones.
Kindly follow these suggestions :
Use realme original charging cable and USB adapter. Third-party accessories might not be compatible with realme smartphone and cause problems.
Check your charging cable and USB adapter for signs of damage, like breakage or bent prongs.
* Don't use damaged accessories. Use new/without damage charging cable and USB adapter.
Use a wall power socket and check for firm connections between your charging cable, USB wall adapter, and wall socket, or try a different socket.
Remove any debris from the charging port on the bottom of your device, then firmly plug your charging cable into your device. If the charging port is damaged, your device probably needs service.
If you are charging your phone with a computer, charge it with your Realme original charging cable.
Check the charging temperature
The lithium battery is very sensitive to the temperature. During charging high temperature may lead to battery degradation and charging at temperatures above 45 °C will degrade battery performance, whereas at the lower temperatures the internal resistance of the battery may increase, resulting in slower charging and thus longer charging times.
*To avoid battery damage, realme smartphone will automatically stop charging at extreme ambient temperatures, and alerts you "Temperature is too low/high, the battery cannot be charged, "Temperature is too low/high, the battery cannot be fully charged."
Close background apps
Apps running in the background, can constantly drain away the power. If you want to shorten the charging time, it's recommended to close background apps. Click Menu button on the bottom left, and then:
· Close an app: Swipe the app up to the top edge of the screen.
· Close all apps: Click to clean up the list.
Avoid using your phone while charging
Using and charging your phone synchronously means the effect of charge and discharge counteracts, consequently extending the charging time. It's worth noting that keeping your phone in the state of charging and discharging simultaneously will cause battery performance degradation.
Do not fully charge or fully discharge your device
When the battery is fully discharged, it could fall into a deep discharge state, which renders it incapable of holding a charge. Conversely, if you charge your phone after it is fully charged for an extended period of time, the battery may lose some capacity, leading to shorter battery life.
* Pictures, settings, and paths might differ from those of your phone, but that do not affect the description in this article.
