How to Manage app permissions in your realme smartphone?

Learn how to manage permissions in your realme smartphone.
Applicable for ColorOS 5.2. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About phone].

Every application installed  on your realme smartphone may require certain data or  want to access your phone's other features (Contacts, etc.). You can manage the permissions to protect your privacy.


Manage App permissions

Go to [Phone Manager] > [Privacy Permissions] > [App Permissions]. Click "Apps", select an app and choose to accept, decline or limit call, message, device and privacy related permissions.
•Allow permissions: The app uses the required permissions without asking you.
•Forbid permissions: The app doesn't have the access to the required permissions.
•Ask permissions: Every time you start the app, your phone displays dialog boxes to ask you to grant the permissions that the app requires.




If an App keeps asking for permissions

1.Go to [Settings] > [Security] > [App Permissions]. Click "Apps", select an app and allow the required permissions.
2.Restart your realme phone, and see if  it will fix the issue.
3.Go to [Settings] > [Software Updates], and update your phone to .
