How to set Dual Wi-Fi acceleration?

Update Time: 2024-02-29 15:27:45

Dual Wi-Fi acceleration can connect two Wi-Fi hotspots in different frequency bands (2.4GHz/5GHz) at the same time and surf the Internet through two different network frequency bands at the same time, increasing the Internet speed.

Connection requirements:
Dual Wi-Fi must have one 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and one 5GHz WiFi in the current environment or a dual-band-in-one Wi-Fi hotspot. The phone is connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and 5GHz Wi-Fi and both networks can access the Internet.

Setting method:

1. realme UI 5.0 & 4.0: Settings  > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Assistant > Turn on  Dual Wi-Fi acceleration

realme UI 3.0: Settings  > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Assistant > Turn on  Dual Wi-Fi acceleration

realme UI 2.0: Settings > Wi-Fi > Advanced Settings > Wi-Fi Assistant > Dual Wi-Fi acceleration.

realme UI 1.0: not support

realme R & Go & T & S Edition: not support

2. After the connection is successful, the connected and auxiliary acceleration prompts will be displayed below the connected Wi-Fi network and displayed in the status bar, indicating that the dual Wi-Fi of the phone is automatically triggered and successfully connected to the secondary Wi-Fi.

Note:
1. After turning to dual Wi-Fi acceleration, when the primary Wi-Fi signal is poor and the secondary Wi-Fi is good, the white list application will automatically trigger dual Wi-Fi and connect to the secondary Wi-Fi hotspot.
2. Currently, the auxiliary Wi-Fi cannot be operated through third-party applications, and other third-party applications can only connect to the main Wi-Fi.

3. Only some phone models support this feature.
